Kapalai is a former island that has been eroded away over the last two hundred years and is now just a sandy reef with a resort comprising of 59 bungalows that are suspended on stilts.
The sandy reef isn't outstanding compared to other nearby attractions, however I imagine that it must be very nice to have Groupers, Trumpetfish and Clownfish right under your bedroom!
