The reef is pretty close to the shore, so its great if you aren´t that fit, or confident in the water.

Visibility is good, but the beach was often closed due to large quantities of jellyfish :cry:

The reef is fantastic, with great drop offs on the seaward side, making it a fun place to explore.

Plenty to see. sergeant majors, blueheads, yellowtail snappers, parrotfish, damselfish, surgeonfish, blue tangs, butterflyfish, yellowhead wrasse, mahogany snapper, trumpetfish, rock beauty, bar jack, schoolmasters, spotted trunkfish, , yellow stingray, queen angelfish, and the odd barracuda.

Sorry, I meant to say - be aware, look out for warnings too as there can be Portugese Man-o-War´s about.
